Stage 1.

The brief

This is a free initial consultation in your home. It’s an opportunity to get to know you, your needs, aspirations, lifestyle and to understand the project requirements.

I explain how I work, the services I provide and we discuss what you want to achieve.

This is then followed up with a fee proposal summarising the brief, explaining fees and timings.

Stage 2.

Design concepts

Incorporating your personal tastes with my style and experience, unique interiors are created.

Each individual concept reflects the brief, identifying colours and linking schemes so that the spaces flow.

My designs include mood boards and material samples that are presented to help visulise the spaces.

Once the design direction has been confirmed you may choose to implement yourself or 22 Interiors can take you further.

Stage 3.

Space planning

The aim is to look at how you use your home to its full potential by reviewing layouts and suggesting a plan for each room.

Using architects plans or following a full site measurement, 2D interior layouts are created to reflect the brief and your practical lifestyle requirements.

All furniture and accessories will be marked and checked on plan, this includes small power/lighting design.

Kitchen layouts, bathrooms and bespoke joinery will all be considered at this stage.

Stage 4.

Design specification

Once the overall design has been agreed the concept will be developed into a full specification document identifying all aspects of the interior space.

Details of all surface finishes, fittings, furniture, fabrics, colour pallet and accessories will be communicated, making sure that everything works together.

At the end of this stage you will have a design pack ready for implementation. I source from a wide range of suppliers which allows the creation of a totally unique space for each client.

This stage involves co-ordinating with trades and specialists to provide you with the best interiors for your home based on your budget requirements.

Stage 5.

Design implementation
& project management

Beautiful homes can be conceptualized but I also have the project management skills to communicate those ideas with tradespeople visually and over emails, calls and site visits.

I can attend site meetings with contractors to clarify any construction issues and present a clear brief of the work to be carried out based on the agreed design.

This stage involves implementing the design specification list; raising trade orders, liasing with suppliers and scheduling deliveries.

My design experience makes sure all the design aspects of your home are pulled together.

Stage 6.

Stand-alone interior design services

Interior Consulting:
Don’t have a huge budget? No problem. For an hourly fee I can walk you through ideas, brainstorm solutions, or provide sourcing for specific problems such as layout, paint colours, lighting design, or where to find affordable furniture and accessories.

Styling:

Pulling it all together is a big part of the design and a passion of mine; from finding the perfect ornament or antique, sourcing the right artwork and to placing that blanket and those cushions just so…

Whether it is sourcing new or using exsiting loved pieces to create a home that tells your story.
